Good morning blog family.
What's new with everyone?
Things have gone from busy to busier here in Oliver and Rust land. It feels like Christmas just leaked into winter and spring and as I try new things and experiment with different concepts for the shop that seem to be working the store is getting busier and busier.
woo hoo.
It's every retailers dream to be able to say those words. The store that you have babied and worked tirelessly on is growing and people seem to love it.
We made it over the 2 year marker here on April 2 and I am happy to say the blood, sweat, tears and lack of sleep are panning out.
The emails still come in of hopefuls out there wanting to open their own shop and I hate to say most of them I do not get to in a timely manner. If you are one of the people waiting for a response from me I am sorry and all I can say is when you open your doors, you will understand.
As spring finally rolls out, yard work presents itself and I am so happy to get back in the dirt. Emma is enjoying watching us from her stroller. We feel so lucky to have gotten ourselves such a happy baby. She has fit seamlessly into our life and we can't wait to enjoy more of the outdoors with her.
I just wanted to share some of the photos of the shop that have been taken over the last 2 months or so. As new products arrive and leave I generally try to take pictures to document it along the way and even though these pictures are taken all over the place timing wise it gives a peek into what the shop is looking like this time of year.
Enjoy!
