Giving the green thumb a break

I inherited a mean green thumb from my mom. It has taken a lot of cultivating but, it doesn't often fail me. If you remember from our upstairs bathroom redo back in March,  I added a lovely spiral topiary. It flourished for 6 months in this room and then within the course of 1 week, it started dropping leaves like crazy until it was half naked. It is slowly coming back to life on our patio but, left a serious void in our bathroom.

the now recovering topiary in its original lush form

the replacement: Restoration Hardware boxwood triple ball topiary. I am a faux plant snob. I can admit it. They always look fake, collect dust and do nothing for the air quality. These plants are preserved though, as in used to be real. I think I can handle these. The spirals were all sold out but, I am quite happy with this triple as well.

they come in a concrete aged pot but, I love the old world pot I have and was fortunate the RH version fit right inside.

No more worrying about this plant, unkillable.

Have a great day,

Meg
