Returning with a twig chandelier

After about 1 million computer complications, many months, many temper tantrums, my little blog returns. Lots of great outdoor projects on the go but first, what I've been up to the last few months. Last October I did a major revamp of my office/workroom. I (by "I", I mean my wonderful father) painted over the dark blue that came with the house with a wheat gold leftover from our living room. The color wasn't working out for me and the destroyed rug was still exhibiting some funky unmentionable smell from the previous owners. Therefore, the first room to be repainted during our ownership to Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter. My hubby and brother installed dark bourbon bamboo flooring to match our bedroom.
My favorite piece is my twig chandelier DIY.
twig chandelier made from black 5 arm chandelier,
adding branches until I got the fullness I desired

2 drawer antique filing cabinet (gets all the bills off the floor)

Lack Ikea shelves installed on 1 wall with assorted vintage items and "junk" hiding baskets and trunks (Ikea's Byholma collection) I recovered my hardcover book collection with brown craft paper.
table made of black gas pipe(I also used this pipe for my drapery rod) with a custom cut piece of Carrara marble.
