What currency is listed?
All products are listed in Canadian dollars. Currency conversion will be done through your bank or credit card and has nothing to do with Oliver and Rust directly. Please check your country's rates prior to purchase. All prices will have HST (taxes) added at checkout.
I’d like to visit the store in person, is there anything I should know?
Please click on the Visit Us tab at the top of the page for directions and relevant information. Hours are always kept up to date on this page and any specials events or opening/closing hours will be announced here as well as on social media.
Do you offer custom sewing?
At this time the sewing operations of Oliver and Rust are a small operation and have their plate full keeping the pillows stocked so unfortunately custom projects are not being taken on at this time.
The Pillows
Are all the pillows made in house?
95% of the pillows shown online and via our social media channels are proudly made in house and will say as such in the individual listing. The rest of the pillows are purchased via our extensive lineup of suppliers throughout Canada and the world.
How do I care for my pillow cover?
Each pillow is made from carefully selected fabric that is pre washed and pre shrunk [unless indicated as dry clean only]
Each pillow is made with a zipper closure, overlocked seams and reinforced seams for longevity. Our pillows are made to live in your home the way you live. Decorate your couch, make a fort, or smush in the corner to read a good book. Pillow listings will have individual care instructions concerning home washing or dry cleaning. Please keep your care instructions for best results and longevity.
Are all of the fabrics on the pillow covers new?
No, some pillow covers are made with vintage fabrics. These fabrics have also been prewashed and preshrunk prior to cutting but please note with age some fabrics present small character imperfections that have been left intact during fabricating. Please review photos carefully prior to purchase. Any large areas of concern would be duly noted.
Am I receiving a pillow cover and insert or just the cover?
Your pillow cover purchase will ship as the cover only unless you choose to add the insert in the listing. This also applies to in store pickup. Inserts are available for purchase in store as well as separate listing online.
What size insert do I need for my pillow cover?
Each pillow cover is made to FIT a standard pillow insert. For example a 20” pillow cover will arrive approx. 1-1.5” smaller than 20” to give a proper fit for a 20” x 20” insert. All photos are shown using a down feather insert in the appropriate listed size.
Our general sizes are 14”x 21”, 16”x 26”, 20” x 20” and 22” x 22”.
PLEASE NOTE: REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR MISCALCULATING YOUR INSERTS.

Do you wholesale your pillow covers?
At this time no wholesale is not an option we offer.
Where do you source your products from?
All of the items, whether they be vintage, new, handmade or plant are sourced by Meg and team. Sources range from local makers and growers to large gift companies in North America to flea markets encountered on vintage hunting trips.
